Couldn't recommend more for a swift stopover

Comfortable room, friendly staff, with convenient parking available, we appreciated the modern shower and found the location perfect for a brief walk to the marina and an excellent breakfast spread in the morning.

The hotel had a cozy restaurant and a nice small pool.

Our room was incredibly disappointing. the bedding was uncomfortable and made for a terrible night's sleep. The heating was malfunctioning, leaving us stuck in a hot room with a thermostat that didn’t work. To make matters worse, there was excessive noise from workmen drilling above us early in the morning, turning our stay into a frustrating experience.

The reception staff were super friendly and the breakfast spread was impressive, especially with fresh croissants. The pool area was clean and my kids loved hanging out at the playroom with the fussball table. The only downside was the slightly dated corridors, but it didn’t take away from our fun stay! 😊

Had a great time on our trip! The swimming pool was a hit with everyone, and the nearby park made for nice strolls. It’s just a short 20-minute walk to the harbor where we found plenty of dining spots. I recommend checking the restaurant for a good breakfast spread.

The hotel's proximity to the park and the old port made it ideal for exploring, with a pleasant ten-minute walk to the lively atmosphere and restaurants. Just a balanced option for a brief sojourn in La Rochelle (Charente-Maritime) with excellent value for money. The bar staff were friendly and even bought us a drink as a consolation after the rugby match. Make sure to ask about the breakfast hours to enjoy the full spread.

good stay with room for improvement

The location is excellent, only a short five-minute walk through a lovely city park to reach the city center. The breakfast offered a very good variety, satisfying everyone in our family. The pool was clean, and my daughter had a great time enjoying it, even without lifeguards on duty. We had a fantastic view of the pool area that added to our enjoyment of the stay.

The air conditioning control could be more user-friendly.
